Delete your account
You can delete your De Mentale Wasstraat @home account and all data that belongs to it whenever you want. You never need to ask our permission or explain why.
In the app, right away
- Open De Mentale Wasstraat @home and go to the Profiel tab.
- Scroll to Privacy en account.
- Tap Mijn account en gegevens verwijderen (delete my account and data) and confirm with Alles verwijderen (delete everything).
That is all. Deletion happens immediately, not after a waiting period, and there is nothing more to do afterwards.
Without the app
Already removed the app, or can no longer get into your account? E-mail levi@garage2020.nl with the subject Account verwijderen, from the e-mail address you signed up with. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by e-mail when it is done. We may ask one question to make sure it really is your account, nothing more.
What gets deleted
| Your account and login | Deleted immediately. |
| Your progress and streak | Deleted immediately. |
| Your personal notes with exercises | Deleted immediately. |
| Your replies in the community | Deleted immediately, for everyone. The text itself is erased as well. |
| Your reports and blocks | Deleted immediately. |
| Usage counts | Remain, but the link to you is erased at that same moment. What remains is a number without an owner, which cannot be traced to you. |
This cannot be undone. There is no recovery and no grace period. If you just want a break, simply stop opening the app; nothing is deleted and only your streak starts over.
You can ask for something else too
Would you rather have a copy of your data, or have something corrected instead of deleted? E-mail the same address. The privacy policy lists all your rights and how long we keep things.
